Offsite property management company based in uptown New Orleans is looking for the right person to join our team. We are seeking a sharp career-minded leasing agent to join our staff. The ideal candidate must be a reliable team player with multitasking skills, computer savvy, capable of learning on the fly. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Answer multi-phone lines in a friendly professional manner.
* Schedule appointments with prospective tenants to view apartments.
* Show apartments and complete the leasing process and all documents accurately.
* Competently and accurately perform all aspects of the leasing process.
* Effectively compose and type correspondence with residents.
* Receive and post rents, make bank deposits, prepare reports, and process all documents accurately.
* Daily organize and maintain filing systems.
* Assist residents with transferring utility services.
* Skillfully collect delinquent rents in a timely manner.
* Resolve resident?s complaints with tact and diplomacy.
* Update daily reports concerning notice to vacate, vacancy reports, activity reports, etc. on a daily basis.
* Work 40 hours, Monday – Friday. Occasional evenings and weekend work is required.
Starting salary: 13-14 per hour. Company benefits package includes medical insurance plan, paid holidays, paid vacation, paid sick leave, vehicle allowance, IRA retirement program, and annual bonus.
